In the recent national volleyball championship, Dang Thi Kim Thanh played in the opposite position, making a great contribution to helping VTV Binh Dien Long An Club defend the championship title. In the final against LPBank Ninh Binh Club, Kim Thanh played with extremely impressive form, being the number 1 scorer of VTV Binh Dien Long An team.
Thanks to that, she was called back to the Vietnam women's volleyball team by coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet. Previously, Kim Thanh was called up to the team but then had a period of rest and then returned to play for the Ho Chi Minh City team before reuniting with VTV Binh Dien Long An.
