Vietnamese 'newbie' wins over Korean and Japanese music groups

Episode 3 of Rookie of the Year aired on the evening of October 18 witnessed the confrontation between the Vietnamese "rookies" and two international groups: KID PHENOMENON (Japan) and JUSTB (Korea) in round 1 of performance 2.

Having to compete with two professional names in the region creates a lot of pressure for the young faces of Vietnam.

Soobin, as the leader of the Rookies, assessed that both international groups have their own strengths and are big obstacles for the Vietnamese group.

In the first round, KID PHENOMENON had an exchange performance with Unstoppable, followed by Wheelie , while JUSTB brought Medusa and Chest respectively. Both groups showed off their unique musical colors and professional performance style. As for the Vietnamese "newbies", they started round 1 with the performance No Need to Say Much and unfortunately encountered a device failure during the competition.

This victory not only affirms the potential of the Vietnamese "newbie" on the international stage but also creates great hope and confidence for the whole team.

Despite the rough start, the group made an effort to deliver an excellent performance, receiving recognition from JUSTB and KID PHENOMENON for their impressive consistency and coordination. Thanks to that, the Rookies successfully passed the first challenge with a score of 96.5%. This victory not only affirmed the potential of the Vietnamese "rookies" on the international stage but also created great hope and confidence for the whole team. However, they need to overcome the tense confrontation next week to preserve the lineup after the second performance.
