Long Xuyen Ward started construction of 2 traffic bridges

On the morning of October 19, the People's Committee of Long Xuyen Ward (An Giang Province) held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Ut Oi 3 and Ut Oi 4 bridges through Nga Bat Mountain, My Phu Hamlet and Tan Phu Hamlet. Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Long Xuyen Ward Party Committee Lam Quang Thi and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Ward People's Committee Doan Thi Huong Ha attended the ceremony.

Ut Oi 3 and Ut Oi 4 Bridges were newly built with reinforced concrete structure, with a total estimated cost of over 1.3 billion VND, with Long Xuyen Ward People's Committee mobilizing Mr. Nguyen Minh Luong (commonly known as Ut Oi) to support the cost; People of Tan Phu and My Phu hamlets contributed more money, materials and labor days.

Of which, Ut Oi 3 Bridge is 6m long, 4m wide, construction cost is about 400 million VND; Ut Oi 4 Bridge is 15m long, 4m wide, construction cost is about 900 million VND; estimated construction time is about 60 days.

Two new bridges will replace the previous wooden and temporary iron bridges, ensuring convenient and safe travel for people.
