Exciting activities to celebrate the Capital Liberation Day

On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 / October 10, 2025), the Hanoi People's Committee has coordinated with Vietnam Airlines to organize the opening ceremony of the Dragon Boat and SUP 2025 Rowing Competition at West Lake. The tournament attracted more than 550 athletes from domestic and foreign units and enterprises.

In the dragon boat event, there are more than 400 athletes from 22 teams from 22 units including 5 communes and wards of the city; 7 business organizations, universities; 10 embassies and international organizations in Hanoi . In the SUP event, there are nearly 150 athletes from 24 units including 8 international teams; 16 teams from provinces and cities across the country, competing in 5 events.

This is the 6th year the tournament has been held and also the first year that SUP has been included in the competition program.
