The functions “Consumer Protection” and “Early Warning Information” have been newly updated to increase convenience for people, management agencies and diversify the Hue-S ecosystem. |
Protecting consumers from digitalization
The “Consumer Protection” function on Hue-S is designed as a “digital shield”, helping people feel secure when choosing products and services. With just a few simple steps on the phone, users can look up a digital map displaying establishments that meet quality and food safety standards and publicly list prices. Establishments that have been assessed and approved will be labeled “qualified” and displayed directly on the Hue-S map, helping people easily compare and choose before making a transaction.
In particular, if a business establishment is found to have signs of violations or does not ensure quality, people can send regular or urgent feedback right on the application. The system will connect directly with the Hue City Smart Urban Monitoring and Operation Center (HueIOC) for timely handling, ensuring the legitimate rights of consumers. The feedback handling mechanism is designed to be transparent: Regular feedback is sent to specialized management agencies, while urgent feedback will immediately activate the interconnection process, sending notifications to local officials for quick intervention and response.
For businesses, participating in Hue-S not only demonstrates compliance with regulations but also a commitment to reputation and transparency. Businesses can digitize records, register for inspection certificates, list prices electronically and get approved online. After verification, information will be publicly displayed on a digital map, helping businesses reach more customers and at the same time strengthen trust from the community.
On the management side, the Department of Science and Technology and specialized units such as the Police, the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Finance, the Department of Tourism, the Department of Agriculture and Environment... play a central role in appraisal, licensing and supervision. Data is digitized, periodically updated and integrated with the public service system, helping to maintain accurate and synchronized information and significantly reduce administrative procedures for businesses.
Proactive response through early warning
The "Early Warning Information" function operates through the camera system, IOT devices installed in the city and applies AI analysis solutions also integrated on Hue-S. This functional system helps identify potential risks and send immediate warning signals, minimizing damage and improving management efficiency for people and management agencies.
Through this function, risks of traffic congestion, fire, urban order violations, sidewalk encroachment, roadside encroachment, weather, natural disasters... will be identified and signals sent to people on Hue-S. For state agencies, the system will immediately send warning information to the authorized authorities where the incident occurs through the Early Warning Monitoring system on the Hue-S application, helping localities promptly grasp the situation, deploy quick and effective handling plans, contributing to ensuring safety for the community.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son, Director of the Department of Science and Technology, said that the functions of "Early warning information" and "Consumer protection" on Hue-S demonstrate the spirit of digital transformation to serve the people. This is not only a technical tool, but also a smart urban management solution, helping to connect the government - businesses - people in the same transparent and trustworthy digital ecosystem.
These two new functions are practical utilities, contributing to ensuring people's rights, promoting transparency in business and improving the management capacity of urban authorities. This is an important step in the journey to perfecting the Hue-S ecosystem - the central platform of Hue's smart city. From reflection, monitoring to management and emergency response, all activities are digitalized, transparent and associated with the proactive participation of people, gradually affirming the goal of building digital government, digital economy and digital society.
