Event to honor the police force and connect the community

In the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection, the Department of Political Work of the Ministry of Public Security organized the program "Peaceful Festival" from August 16 to August 19 at Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street, Hanoi with many activities that are both solemn in gratitude and exciting in connecting the community.

The event realistically recreated the daily work of police officers, from maintaining order, fighting crime to rescue. Booths and exhibitions of images and precious memorabilia depicting the 80 glorious years of the force, helping people - especially the younger generation - better understand the sacrifices and dedication and take more pride in the value of peace today.

Not only that, “Peace Festival” is also a weekend cultural meeting place with many unique artistic activities such as performances of songs praising the country, armed forces, folk dance, musicals, jazz music, etc., along with fun entertainment for children. The bustling, intimate atmosphere makes the event an attractive destination for all ages.
