On September 25, the Center for Rescue, Conservation and Development of Living Creatures (Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park Management Board) released 27 wild animals back into the natural environment after completing rescue and quarantine.
Among them, there are 8 pig-tailed macaques, 2 hornbills, 1 brown hawk, 1 python, 9 cardamom tortoises, 3 miniature lorises, 1 palm civet, 1 palm civet and 1 wild cat along with many species listed as endangered and rare according to Decree 84/2021/ND-CP and CITES Convention.

These animals were voluntarily handed over by local people, and were then cared for and rehabilitated by the center before being released back into the forest.
