Ethnic minority youth learn about the law on marriage, early marriage and incestuous marriage

Vice Chairman of Ea Kar District People's Committee Nguyen Minh Chuyen delivered the opening speech of the contest.

Participating in the contest are 14 teams, with more than 210 actors and propagandists from communes and towns in ethnic minority and mountainous areas, communes with villages located in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The purpose of the contest is to change the awareness, law compliance, and marital behavior of ethnic minorities, contributing to reducing the situation of early marriage and consanguineous marriage, especially among minors and ethnic minority youth who still face many difficulties in the district. At the same time, promoting the role of union members and ethnic minority youth in implementing the socio -economic development target program for ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the period of 2021 - 2030 in the district.

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to the competing teams.

The contest is organized in a dramatized form, with 3 parts, including: General knowledge part, situation handling part and propaganda skit dramatization part.

For the general knowledge test, each team will send 15 members, each member will answer 30 multiple choice questions using the online system within 10 minutes. In the situation handling test, after drawing questions, the whole team will discuss and send 1 representative member to answer 1 situational question.

In the propaganda skit dramatization contest, the teams will stage and perform works with the content of learning and propagating legal knowledge about marriage, early marriage, incestuous marriage and related consequences.

Head of Ea Kar District Ethnic Affairs Department Y Khoan Nie awarded prizes to the first and second prize winning teams.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Cu Elang commune team; two second prizes to the Cu Yang and Ea Dar commune teams; three third prizes to the Ea O, Ea So, Ea Pal commune teams and eight consolation prizes to the remaining teams.
