The Northern Maritime and Waterways Department informed that from 11am on October 10, some waterways on Duong River and Lo River were cleared after the authorities based on the actual situation of the waterway, water level changes, hydrometeorological conditions...

Accordingly, the restriction on inland waterway traffic on the national inland waterway of Duong River and the national inland waterway of Lo River (section from 200m downstream of Viet Tri bridge to Viet Tri intersection) ends.

Captains and drivers of watercraft when traveling on the national inland waterway route of Lo River are required to strictly follow the instructions of competent authorities, the forces regulating inland waterway traffic safety and the inland waterway signaling system arranged on the route. Vehicles must strictly comply with the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic.

Previously, these inland waterways were restricted in traffic due to the impact of complex rain, floods and the circulation of storm No. 10.

On October 9, the northern national inland waterways, on the national inland waterway of the Red River (section from Km 269+000 to Km 544+000) also ended traffic restrictions.

The Northern Maritime and Waterways Department informed that currently, on the Lo River, the section from the downstream of Viet Tri Bridge 200m to the Lo - Gam intersection, along with routes on the Luc Nam River, Cau River, Thuong River and Red River (Km 90+000 to Km 100+000) is still prohibited due to the complicated flood situation.
