Prime Minister requests focus on overcoming consequences of fire that killed 5 people in Hanoi

On October 11, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed a dispatch to the Minister of Public Security and Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee regarding the house fire in Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward, Hanoi, which killed 5 people.

On behalf of the Government, the Prime Minister sent his condolences to the relatives and family of the victim.

At the same time, the Prime Minister directed the Hanoi People's Committee to direct the organization of thoughtful visits, timely encouragement, material and spiritual support, and create the best conditions to support the victims' families. The Hanoi People's Committee closely coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to direct functional forces to focus on overcoming the consequences, promptly investigate the cause of the fire, and strictly handle violations (if any) according to the provisions of law.

The Prime Minister also requested to strengthen propaganda and guidance on fire prevention, fighting, rescue and relief skills; check and overcome conditions to ensure fire and explosion safety; and proactively develop plans to prevent and fight fires and explosions in the area.
