(Dan Tri) - The menu to welcome VIP guests (important people) revealed by the owner of the beer house in Ta Hien is familiar dishes of Vietnamese cuisine , such as: Tofu marinated with onions, boneless chicken feet, grilled squid, bottled beer...
At around 5:30 p.m. on December 5, Mr. Nguyen Duc Huy (34 years old, owner of Huy Beer Tay) received a call from a unit, reserving a table for a group of 20 guests. This representative asked him about opening hours, dishes on the menu and requested to reserve a table to sit on the sidewalk, on Ta Hien Street (Hoan Kiem, Hanoi ).
There are 7-8 dishes to choose from, all of which are familiar dishes of Vietnamese street food, such as: Fried sour spring rolls, boneless chicken feet, spring rolls wrapped in fig leaves, fried potatoes, tofu with onions, grilled squid and beer.
"The group did not request any unusual dishes or services. Therefore, all preparations at the restaurant were carried out as when welcoming other large groups of guests. I also had a feeling that these would be VIP guests but could not guess who they were," said Mr. Huy.

At 9:30 p.m., about 30 minutes before the scheduled time, Mr. Huy and his staff were surprised to see that the restaurant was locked down. The representative of the organization that made the reservation proceeded to check and examine the general situation at the restaurant.
At this time, the restaurant is not allowed to welcome any new customers. Customers who have been dining before can still sit normally, but in a position far away from the 5 tables on the sidewalk.
At 10pm, the VIP guests arrived, and everyone along the street stood up and applauded. Mr. Huy was surprised but also happy to see Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and CEO Huang appear.
"My emotions were overwhelmed, I was honored to welcome two special guests to the restaurant. They sat on the sidewalk, eating simple but authentic Vietnamese dishes. Both Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and CEO Huang were friendly and lovable," said Mr. Huy.
