1- A radio program channel serving the nation's essential political and informational propaganda tasks is a program channel of a press agency with a radio broadcasting license that meets the following criteria:

Having the purpose and objectives of general current affairs and politics or having specialized purposes and contents, ensuring to serve the information and propaganda needs of the country's political, security, defense, ethnic and foreign affairs tasks.

The program channel must broadcast at least 17 hours/day; the self-produced program must broadcast at least 10 hours/day (of which, the new self-produced program must broadcast at least 4 hours/day).

2- Television program channels serving the nation's essential political and informational propaganda tasks are program channels of press agencies with television operating licenses that meet the following criteria:

The program channel must broadcast 24 hours/day; the self-produced program must broadcast at least 10 hours/day (of which the newly self-produced program must broadcast at least 5 hours/day).

3- Radio program channels serving essential political and informational propaganda tasks of localities are program channels of press agencies of provinces and centrally-run cities with radio broadcasting licenses that meet the following criteria:

Its purpose and objectives are to synthesize current affairs and politics, ensuring to serve information needs, propagate political tasks and reflect all aspects of local activities.

The program channel must broadcast at least 14 hours/day; the self-produced program must broadcast at least 4 hours/day (of which, the new self-produced program must broadcast at least 2 hours 30 minutes/day).

4- Television program channels serving essential political and informational propaganda tasks of localities are program channels of press agencies of provinces and centrally-run cities with television operating licenses that meet the following criteria:

Its purpose and objectives are to synthesize current affairs and politics, ensuring to serve information needs, propagate political tasks and reflect all aspects of local activities.

The program channel must broadcast at least 15 hours/day; the self-produced program must broadcast at least 3 hours/day (of which, the new self-produced program must broadcast at least 2 hours/day).
