Ca Mau province issues plan to strengthen fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan to strengthen the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property rights infringement in the province with the motto "handling one case, alerting the whole region, the whole field", "no forbidden areas, no exceptions".

The proposed plan must adhere to the spirit and content of Directive No. 13/CT-TTg dated May 17, 2025 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the fight against smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods in the new situation; Official Dispatch No. 148-CV/TU dated August 5, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee on strengthening the fight against, preventing, and repelling smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods.

In addition, be proactive in preventing, detecting, arresting, investigating, and strictly handling acts of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods according to the provisions of law; resolutely not allowing incidents, hot spots, and prominent issues of banned goods, smuggled goods, and counterfeit goods to arise in the whole province.
