Electric buses transport delegates to the 16th Provincial Party Congress.

On the day of the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, the image of 16 smart, environmentally friendly, smooth-running, dust-free VinFast electric buses transporting more than 360 delegates attending the congress from FLC Grand Ha Long Hotel to the Provincial Convention Center became a vivid symbol of the green transformation spirit that Quang Ninh is aiming for - a green, civilized, modern and dynamic Quang Ninh.

Mr. Bui Van Quang, Director of Agrico Technology Joint Stock Company, said: “The use of electric buses not only demonstrates professionalism and modernity in organization but also conveys a strong message about the province's determination to transform into a greener one. This also creates more confidence for businesses to continue investing and developing in a greener and more sustainable direction."

Indevco Group Joint Stock Company cooperated with a foreign unit to research suitable technological solutions to crush mine waste rock and soil to make artificial sand, promoting a circular economy in Quang Ninh.

The spirit of green transformation and circular economy proposed by the 16th Provincial Party Congress is a political orientation, being materialized by practical steps. On average, each year, coal mines in Quang Ninh discharge about 150 million m³ of soil and rock. In order to turn waste into resources, the province has directed industries and enterprises to invest in advanced technology lines, screening - crushing - recycling soil and rock into filling materials, sand, and construction stone. Millions of m³ of mine waste soil and rock are reused each year, contributing to reducing the exploitation of natural resources, reducing emissions, and promoting the circular economy - one of the focuses identified by Quang Ninh in this term.

In the industrial sector, the province firmly maintains the view that the environment will not be traded for economic growth. Quang Ninh selectively attracts and prioritizes high-tech projects, clean industry, renewable energy and new energy. Mr. Bruno Jaspaert, General Director of DEEP C Industrial Park Complex, affirmed: “With the orientation of developing ecological industrial parks, the unit has proactively implemented initiatives on digital transformation and green transformation to help businesses operate more sustainably. Quang Ninh province also clearly requires that we only attract secondary investors that meet green criteria and modern technology, which is also our development perspective.”

Currently in Quang Ninh there are many modern golf courses - green tourism products.

In the service sector, Quang Ninh aims to develop green and sustainable tourism, focusing on quality and experience value. The province strives to become an international tourism center associated with ecology, heritage and community, affirming its position as a leading destination in the country.

With the established foundation and high political determination, the Party Committee, government and people of Quang Ninh are joining hands to realize the goal of building a green - modern - sustainable - happy province, becoming a centrally-run city before 2030, and a large urban area of regional and international stature by 2045. Green transformation and circular economy are not only trends, but have become a new identity in the development journey of Quang Ninh - a proactive, creative, humane and aspirational journey in the new era.
