In the list of the 5 youngest coaches leading clubs in the 5 biggest leagues in Europe (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga and Ligue 1), Carlos Cuesta (30 years old) emerged as the most surprising name. Born in 1995 in Mallorca (Spain), Cuesta is currently the head coach of Parma. Having just turned 30 in July, Cuesta is the youngest coach to ever lead a team in the top 5 leagues in Europe.

Cuesta was appointed by Parma in June, with a contract running until 2027. He was previously Mikel Arteta's assistant at Arsenal from 2020.
