In September, four consecutive storms appeared in the East Sea, including storms No. 9 and No. 10, which had a strong impact on many localities. In particular, storm No. 10 caused heavy damage to people and property in the Northern and North Central regions.
Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; promoting the tradition of "mutual love" of the Vietnamese people and the tradition of charity of the Culture, Sports and Tourism sector, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storm No. 10 for all officials, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with a minimum support level of 1 day's salary.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh expressed his sympathy for the losses and pain that our people are suffering due to the consequences of storm No. 10.
"We are deeply saddened that recently, storm after storm, successive floods have caused heavy losses in human lives and property, leaving behind much pain and hardship for people in affected areas," the Deputy Minister expressed.
According to Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh, in times of trouble, the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other" of the Vietnamese people has once again been strongly aroused. Responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , under the direction of the Minister and the leaders of the Ministry, today, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storm No. 10.
This is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, demonstrating the responsibility, affection and sharing of the collective of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the entire Ministry.

Support, whether big or small, is a valuable source of encouragement, helping people in provinces and cities to soon overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and restore production.
Permanent Deputy Minister Le Hai Binh also hopes that all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to spread the spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other" to their colleagues, friends and family to provide more practical support to people in flood-affected areas.

Immediately after the launch, the Office of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will send a Notice to the agencies and units under the Ministry to launch a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storm No. 10.

The amount of donations from units will be compiled and reported to the Party Committee and the Ministry's leaders. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will choose an appropriate time to organize a working delegation chaired by the Ministry's leaders to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to hand over the donations raised by the Ministry.
