The Vietnam Retail Banking Forum 2025 with the theme "Inclusive digital finance: The era of data and digital assets - Towards a modern and sustainable financial center" took place in the context of Vietnam entering a new development stage of the financial industry.
The focus of this year's forum shifts to modernization and international integration, focusing on key issues: How to build digital infrastructure and legal framework to support innovation; data governance and security strategies in the era of AI, blockchain and rapidly developing digital assets. The forum is a place where policymakers, bank leaders, technology companies and academia share their vision, international experience and create a digital financial ecosystem for Vietnam.
In the main report session, Ms. Pham Chau Loan, Deputy Head of Digital Channel Development and Partnership Department of Vietcombank, presented a paper on "Digital retail banking - Journey of creating comprehensive customer experience at Vietcombank", affirming the bank's pioneering position in building a modern financial ecosystem.
Sharing at the forum, Ms. Pham Chau Loan affirmed that digital transformation is not only an option but also an inevitable path to survival and development. Therefore, Vietcombank always considers digital transformation as a key strategy to maintain its leading position.

Notably, it has closely coordinated with C06, becoming the first bank to deploy online identity authentication via VNeID from July 2024.
Continuing that success, on May 22, 2025, Vietcombank continued to take the lead by integrating the Remote Centralized Digital Signature Portal on VNeID into VCB Digibank for individual customers - turning the ownership and use of digital signatures, which is inherently complicated, into a simple, safe and convenient "one-touch" experience.
With a clean data platform of more than 13 million individual customers authenticated with the National Population Database, Vietcombank is ready to serve people in applying digital signatures to a variety of electronic transactions and online public services, making implementation easier.
