Cu Lao Cham Island in Tan Hiep Commune ( Da Nang City) has a natural area of 16.43 km2 and a population of more than 2,600 people. This is an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists every summer.

Hai Tang Pagoda is a national relic. This is the first pagoda built on Cu Lao Cham Island in 1758. The pagoda has a unique architecture, located close to the foot of the western mountain of the island, with its back leaning against the mountain and facing the only rice field on the island.
Coming to Cu Lao Cham Island, tourists can also explore Tan Hiep Market located next to Bai Lang every early morning. The market sells forest and sea specialties and souvenirs. Visitors often buy dried seafood as gifts. This market and many other tourist attractions on the island have long said “no to plastic bags”.
Lady's breast snails, stone crabs, clams, sea urchins, wild vegetables... are typical products of Cu Lao Cham.
