Hai Phong City supports Thai Nguyen province with 5 billion VND to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

On October 13, at the headquarters of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, on behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong City, comrade Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City Fatherland Front Committee, presented 5 billion VND to support Thai Nguyen province in overcoming the consequences of floods. Attending the support reception was comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

The working delegation of Hai Phong City presented   Funding to support Thai Nguyen province to overcome flood consequences.

Speaking at the support handover ceremony, comrade Pham Van Lap expressed the deep sympathy and sharing of the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong City with the heavy losses caused by storm No. 11 in Thai Nguyen. He emphasized that Hai Phong always upholds the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, and is ready to accompany localities when facing difficulties and natural disasters; believing that Thai Nguyen will quickly overcome difficulties and continue to develop strongly and sustainably.

The donation of 5 billion VND this time shows the heart and affection of the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong, contributing to helping Thai Nguyen quickly overcome the consequences, stabilize people's lives and restore production.

On behalf of the Party Committee, government and people of Thai Nguyen province, comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen respectfully thanked the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong city for their sentiments and valuable support. He affirmed that the support funds will be allocated by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in a timely manner, to the right beneficiaries, effectively serving the relief and reconstruction work after the storm.

On this occasion, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation also donated 150 million VND to support workers and laborers in Thai Nguyen province affected by storm No. 11, demonstrating the spirit of solidarity and sharing between the trade unions at both local levels.
