The mascot symbol to welcome the Spring of Giap Thin 2024 is built with the idea of "twin dragons facing the moon". The front includes two dragon mascots with strong and beautiful shapes.
In the middle of the pair of dragons is a smoky gray Moon shape.
The symbol "Twin dragons worshipping the moon" symbolizes the gathering of sacred power, symbolizing the prosperity and development of Hoa Binh province in 2024.
The two sides and back include clusters of sub-symbols representing the culture of Hoa Binh homeland such as: Muong ethnic bamboo calendar, Muong ethnic Khai Ha festival; Cao Phong orange symbol; carp returning to heaven, dragon dance, Chung cake, watermelon, Tet jam.
Although it has not officially opened yet, many people have flocked to Peace Square to visit and take souvenir photos.
Ms. Pham Thi Thu Thao (Tan Thinh Ward, Hoa Binh City) said: "Knowing that the square is open for people to see, I brought my family here to have fun, take pictures, and save memories before the New Year. I think this year's dragon mascot is more beautiful than every year, and the clusters of symbols are also rich."
