Hanoi's flooding created the most impressive song on Tao Quan in 17 years

The character Tao Thoat Nuoc made a strong impression at Tao Quan 2009 when he pointed out the current state of flooding to the point of gridlock in Hanoi and the polluted river systems in Vietnam.

Tao Thoat Nuoc makes people laugh with songs with parodies of lyrics, "Hanoi this season, the streets are like rivers", in which the highlight is the song "Flood from the street intersection".

For the past 17 years, this song has been listened to over and over again, shared widely, and edited into images and videos about flooding in Hanoi after every heavy rain.

The song has lyrics that are said to truly reflect the current situation in the capital Hanoi, "outside it keeps raining non-stop, making my street flooded, when at rush hour people and vehicles swim together on the street", "watching the scene of people racing to swim like a competition", "In the middle of the capital, the flowers are shining magnificently/ schools of fish swim happily on the sidewalk/ in sync with the passing vehicles, water waves roll into our house...".

“Working in the drainage industry, I only hope for more floods, so I can ask for more projects with hundreds of thousands of USD”, “Small rain, heavy rain – our streets are flooded/ This time, swimming will be the champion of Sea Games”. The song is considered to have satirical, satirical lyrics, but is full of humor and rich in messages.

"Flood from the crossroads" was performed with the harmonious coordination of four veteran artists, People's Artist Tu Long, People's Artist Xuan Bac, People's Artist Quoc Khanh and People's Artist Cong Ly. They have been associated with Tao Quan for many years.
