Donated more than 1,900 gifts and 246 bicycles to orphans at the beginning of the school year

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the occasion of the new school year 2025-2026, the Women's Union at all levels of Thanh Hoa province mobilized resources to donate more than 1,900 gifts with a total value of 980 million VND and 246 bicycles to orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances.

Among the gifts awarded during this period, the Provincial Women's Union mobilized and coordinated with businesses to present 405 gifts and 246 bicycles, worth 612 million VND to students in difficult circumstances.

The Association's units visited and gave gifts of books, school supplies, cash from 200,000 to 300,000 VND per child and provided sponsorship funds for children in especially difficult circumstances.

In addition, during the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year on the morning of September 5, hundreds of godmothers who are officials and members of women's associations in villages and hamlets participated in taking orphans with difficult circumstances to school.

The attention and gifts on the occasion of the new school year from Women's Unions at all levels, philanthropists, and sponsoring units have helped orphans and children in especially difficult circumstances gain more determination in life and excel in their studies.
