The Central Youth Union gives gifts to students and youth in flood-affected areas in Thai Nguyen

On the morning of October 11, the working delegation of the Central Youth Union Secretariat led by Comrade Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Executive Committee, President of the Central Vietnam Student Association, visited and presented gifts to students, union members, youth and volunteer teams participating in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 11 in Thai Nguyen province. Receiving the delegation were Comrade Dong Van Luu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; and leaders of the Provincial Youth Union.

At Chua Hang I Secondary School (Linh Son Ward), the Delegation presented the school with a computer room worth 100 million VND to support the restoration of teaching and learning activities.

The delegation also presented gifts worth 3 million VND to the volunteer student team of the University of Education (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), who are directly supporting the disaster recovery work in the locality.

At Quang Vinh Primary School (Quan Trieu Ward), the delegation presented 2,000 sets of school supplies. The delegation also received and presented 500 medical bags from the Young Doctors Association, 5,000 cartons of milk from Lof Milk Company, and 300 servings of milk and drinks from Vinamilk to the children.

Tien Phong Newspaper also donated 30 million VND in cash to help schools quickly overcome damage and stabilize teaching activities.

In addition, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association presented 300 million VND to the Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union; presented 2 gifts, each worth 3 million VND to the volunteer youth teams of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the University of Industrial Technology (Thai Nguyen University) who are actively supporting the school to overcome the consequences of floods.
