Also attending were comrade Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union Council and representatives of departments and offices of the Provincial Youth Union.

Under the authorization of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union and the Central Council of the Young Pioneers, the delegation presented 500 cartons of milk, 150 school backpacks and funding to re-roof 15 families of children in particularly difficult circumstances (VND 10 million per family). The total value of the gifts was nearly VND 905 million.

The delegation visited and gave gifts directly to 2 children in especially difficult circumstances and 1 elderly family living alone in Cua Lo ward. The remaining gifts were handed over to Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to continue distributing and providing timely support to affected localities and people.

Visiting the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (Nghi Tan block, Cua Lo ward) with four young children, a poor household, one of the cases that suffered heavy damage, the working group encouraged and shared with Ms. Huong's family to soon stabilize their lives and overcome the consequences after the storm.
At My Thang hamlet, Cua Lo ward, the delegation also visited Nguyen Truong Gia Bao - a disabled student with extremely difficult circumstances. The recent storm had severely damaged his house. The delegation directly visited him, gave him a backpack, books and other gifts to encourage him, helping him to overcome his difficulties.
Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Pham Duy Trang emphasized that the gift, though small, is the sentiment and heart of the youth of the whole country towards Nghe An - the place struggling to overcome the consequences of storms and floods. He hopes that the children and people will soon overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and continue to rise up with their inherent resilience.
The Central Youth Union's visit and gift-giving activities demonstrate the spirit of sharing, social responsibility and the tradition of "mutual love" of the youth across the country towards people in disaster-hit areas. This is also a message of humanity, spreading the spirit of solidarity, contributing to easing the pain, bringing faith and warmth after the storm to the people here.
