Dong Nai's heart goes out to the people in the flood-hit areas

(DN) - On the morning of October 13, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province organized a reception to support people in the northern provinces affected by storm No. 10.

At the reception, the People's Procuracy of Dong Nai province donated 250 million VND; UPM Vietnam Co., Ltd. donated 4 million VND and 200 boxes of wet towels; and the Vietnam-USA Education and Training System (VMG) donated 25 million VND. The gifts and support are a heart of sharing, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love" of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in agencies, units and enterprises in the province, towards the people in the flood-affected areas who are making efforts to overcome the consequences after the storm.

Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai Province Nguyen Tan Phu said: Up to now, the unit has received nearly 6 billion VND from organizations, individuals and businesses in the province to support the northern provinces. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province continues to call for and mobilize more social resources, contributing to helping people stabilize their lives and restore production after natural disasters.

* On the same day, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society Nguyen Tan Hung received 1 billion VND donated by Vedan Vietnam Joint Stock Company to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters.

Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society Nguyen Tan Hung thanked the leaders and employees of Vedan Vietnam Joint Stock Company for joining hands with the province to support people in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters. At the same time, he said that up to now, the Provincial Red Cross Society has received over 1.3 billion VND from individuals, agencies and businesses.
