Cambodia's Khmer Times also published information about the April 30th celebration, emphasizing the arrival of 119 soldiers from the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) to Vietnam to participate in the parade. An RCAF spokesman described the Vietnamese parade as a "historic" event.
On April 29, China's Xinhua News Agency also published a report capturing images of Ho Chi Minh City residents celebrating the April 30th holiday wearing red flags with yellow stars, and a grand stage.

In addition to Xinhua, major Chinese news agencies such as Sina and China News also posted videos about the Honor Guard of the Chinese People's Liberation Army participating in the April 30 parade in Vietnam. Chinese media affirmed that this is an event demonstrating solidarity, friendship and strong international cooperation between the two countries.
According to the US news agency NPR, a large number of local people as well as people from other provinces and cities of Vietnam flocked to Ho Chi Minh City to witness the parade and march to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

Meanwhile, Australia's ABC News commented that the April 30 parade clearly demonstrated Vietnam's national pride and military strength.
