T&T Group and SHB Bank join the Ministry of Public Security in building houses and schools for localities damaged by floods.

With the belief that "contributing to society is part of the duty and honor of the enterprise", along with the spirit of solidarity, mutual love, sharing and supporting people affected by storms and floods, T&T Group and SHB Bank have accompanied the Ministry of Public Security in the program of building 150 houses for people and building 1 school for children of ethnic minorities in the mountainous areas.

Representatives of T&T Group andSHB Bank presented donations to support the Public Security Forces in building houses for households and schools in localities damaged by natural disasters.

On November 8, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Public Security worked online with the police of several localities on organizing the construction and donation of houses to households and schools in localities damaged by natural disasters. Responding to the call of the Ministry of Public Security, with the desire to contribute a part of resources to help people overcome difficulties caused by storms and floods, have safe and stable housing and soon stabilize their lives, T&T Group and SHB Bank decided to accompany the Ministry of Public Security and local police to build 150 houses for people and 1 school for children of ethnic minorities in mountainous areas. The localities receiving support are provinces heavily affected by storms and floods such as: Son La, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Dien Bien, Yen Bai , Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Bac Kan, Thai Nguyen... Speaking at the meeting, Colonel Nguyen Hong Nguyen, Deputy Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for Climate Change Response, Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense of the Ministry of Public Security, said that recently, the weather situation has been complicated, with floods, flash floods, landslides, widespread flooding, and serious fires in localities. These natural disasters have caused great damage to people and property, affecting all aspects of life, economy, and society. In the face of such great damage, the Ministry of Public Security has urgently implemented housing construction projects for affected households. With the spirit of 3 together: "Together to do, together to witness, together to share", the police of various units and localities have implemented and completed very early to hand over houses to people to have safe and convenient accommodation, soon to stabilize their lives.

Police units and localities have implemented a program to support house building for people from July 2024.

Colonel Nguyen Hong Nguyen emphasized: “T&T Group and SHB Bank have great determination, which is to join hands with the People's Public Security Forces in the provinces. We will do well in ensuring the lives of the people; serving the teaching and learning of teachers and students, especially in the mountainous provinces”. From the end of September 2024 to now, in order to quickly concretize this support resource, the working group of businesses has coordinated with the local Fatherland Front to directly survey, plan allocation as well as directly visit, encourage and hand over support funds to the right subjects and addresses in need of support.
