Exciting Festival in Van Son

On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024), on the morning of November 10, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long came to celebrate the National Great Unity Day with the people of Village 1, Van Son Commune, Trieu Son District ( Thanh Hoa ). Also attending were Mr. Nguyen Doan Anh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Do Minh Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee, Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Village 1, Van Son commune has 198 households, many of which have been very sensitive in economic development, rising to have high income. The total income value of the whole village after deducting expenses in 2024 is estimated to reach over 40 billion VND, the average income per capita reaches nearly 70 million VND/person/year.

Village 1, Van Son commune was recognized by the People's Committee of Trieu Son district and maintained the title of "Cultural Village" for 5 consecutive years. The village has established an effective waste collection and treatment team. 100% of households have bathrooms, hygienic water storage facilities, safe toilets and ensure 3 clean. 100% of households have access to safe grid electricity and cashless payments.

“The residential area ensures that civilized lifestyle is followed in weddings, funerals and festivals; whenever a family has a happy or sad event, illness or misfortune, the villagers unite, bond, and share joys and sorrows together. The village has only one household that is a social welfare beneficiary; one near-poor household.

People have contributed funds to build the cultural house campus, expand roads, install lighting lines, build fences, green hedges... Up to now, the village has mobilized 54 households to donate land, expand and upgrade over 3km of roads; 100% of the roads have been concreted... with a total mobilized fund of over 5 billion VND.

Currently, the Executive Committee of Village 1, Van Son Commune is continuing to encourage the people to maintain and improve the quality of the criteria for building a new model rural area, donating land and construction works according to Resolution 12 of the District Party Committee so that some alley roads can be paved with sidewalks.

Speaking at the Festival, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long affirmed: In the coming time, Party committees and authorities of residential areas in village 1, Van Son commune need to continue to summarize experiences and achieve more achievements so that people can have a prosperous life, strive to become rich legitimately, have good neighborly relations, and contribute to the common construction and development of the province and the country.

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long wishes: Van Son commune needs to promote good traditions, enrich cultural values ​​through building cultural life in each family, in each village and hamlet; build a healthy, peaceful and rich residential area so that Van Son becomes a livable countryside, a place that anyone who goes far away will remember, and anyone who has come once will want to come back.

At the festival, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long presented 1 gift box to village 1 and 25 gifts to policy households in the village. Thanh Hoa province also presented 1 Great Solidarity house to a poor family in An Nong commune, Trieu Son district, worth 80 million VND, along with 11 gifts to policy families.
