In recent years, on the basis of closely following the instructions of the superior agency, the Military Service's Population, Family and Education Committee has deployed and fully implemented the contents of population, family and education work in the entire military service; a number of important targets on population, family and education work have been achieved compared to the set plan.

Communication work on population, family and children has been carried out with rich and practical content, spreading widely. From 2023 to now, 153 training courses, 138 thematic talks, 396 internal radio broadcasts and many news articles on population, family and children have been organized...  

Party committees and commanders at all levels always pay attention to implementing family strategies well, creating conditions to support disadvantaged families, families with meritorious services, and families of infertile and sterile military personnel.

From 2023 to present, the Military Service's Population, Family and Children Committee has requested the Ministry of National Defense's Population, Family and Children Committee to support infertility for 205 soldiers with a total amount of over 12 billion VND. Among the families receiving infertility support, 152 families have had results.

Children's work has received due attention. From 2023 to now, the Committee has implemented many activities to support children of martyrs, orphans, disabled children, and children in especially difficult circumstances on the occasion of holidays, Tet... with a total amount of nearly 400 million VND...

Concluding the working session, Major General Tran Cong Truong requested that the Department of Population, Family Planning and Education of the Service continue to promote communication activities on population, family planning and education to raise awareness and change the behavior of officers, employees and soldiers in the entire service, and effectively implement the goals, targets and tasks of population, family planning and education to meet the requirements of the new situation.

Continue to pay attention to and support families in especially difficult circumstances, families with preferential policies, infertile families, and children in special circumstances in the military.

There are solutions to support those over 35 years old who are not married, pay attention to creating conditions for soldiers to take leave, take time off, and rationalize family; contribute to promptly motivating officers, employees, and soldiers to work with peace of mind and complete all assigned tasks well. Focus on effectively implementing the work of caring for, educating , and protecting children of soldiers and workers in the military.

Agreeing with the proposal of the military service, the Military Medical Department - Standing Agency of the Population, Family and Child Affairs Committee of the Ministry of National Defense researched, consulted, and synthesized opinions of agencies and units to amend this content in Decree No. 76 of the Government in the coming time.

On this occasion, the Committee for Population, Education and Children of the Ministry of National Defense presented 5 gifts to 5 children with special circumstances who are children of soldiers working at the Air Defense - Air Force.
