As one of the enterprises with large tax contributions to the budget, VIB has continuously received certificates of merit for many years for 'High achievements in collecting and paying the state budget of Ho Chi Minh City'.

In 2025, VIB was honored in the top 20 private banks with the largest budget contributions and also one of the 20 private enterprises with the largest budget contributions in Vietnam.

This result was achieved thanks to the bank maintaining its core operations safely and sustainably with stable scale and efficiency, growing year after year. Since transforming its business model in 2017, over the past eight years, VIB's total contribution to the state budget has reached more than VND14,500 billion.

VIB also actively participates in sponsoring and contributing tens of billions of VND in 2024 alone to community programs such as: the national emulation movement to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, support to overcome storms, floods and natural disasters, sponsoring student scholarships, job fairs and programs to show gratitude and promote culture, education and society.

These activities not only demonstrate social responsibility but also affirm the bank's commitment to accompanying the sustainable development of the community.

In terms of business operations, at the end of the first six months of 2025, VIB recorded many positive results. In which, credit growth and mobilization both reached 10% thanks to the active deployment of a series of new loan and mobilization products, with the most competitive and attractive interest rates in the market.

In terms of risk management, asset quality has improved thanks to debt quality management strategies and a positive economic outlook, in which group 2 debt has decreased by more than 17% over the same period. Operating costs have been well controlled and business efficiency has improved, VIB recorded a profit after tax in the first 6 months of the year of VND 5,016 billion, up 9% over the same period.
