Viettel continues to consolidate its pioneering position in creating digital infrastructure and promoting e-commerce in the Indochina region.
Unitel Logistics is oriented to become an integrated logistics enterprise, applying comprehensive digital technology in supply chain management and operation. Key activities include logistics, warehousing, international transportation and cross-border e-commerce, meeting the growing transportation demand between Vietnam, Laos and neighboring countries.
In the first phase, Unitel Logistics invested in a synchronous infrastructure system nationwide, including 3 large-scale logistics centers in Oudomxay, Vientiane and Savannakhet; 6 bonded warehouses at border gates with Vietnam, Thailand and China; and more than 1,500 transaction points covering 18 provinces and cities, doubling the existing market size. The multimodal transport network deployed includes roads with 306 N+1 delivery routes, Laos - China, Laos - Thailand railways and aviation, connecting directly with key economic centers in the region.
Unitel Logistics applies comprehensive digital technology in its operations: from smart routing, cargo flow management, real-time tracking to big data analysis and artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize costs, shorten delivery times and ensure transparency throughout the chain. Thanks to that, the enterprise forms a complete logistics service ecosystem, bringing convenient experiences to Lao people and businesses, from sending and receiving goods at home to choosing transportation, warehousing and value-added services according to needs.

Unitel Logistics applies comprehensive digital technology in operations
Unitel Logistics aims to grow at an average of 32% per year in the 2025-2033 period, contributing to reducing Laos' logistics costs to 15% of GDP, improving competitiveness and attracting foreign investment. The project is expected to create more than 30,000 jobs, expand infrastructure to remote areas, and help all Lao people benefit from a modern, smart and sustainable logistics system.
Unitel Logistics is a testament to the strong cooperation between the two Governments and the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam and Laos, marking a step to expand cooperation from telecommunications and information technology to logistics, an essential infrastructure sector of the regional digital economy. When Vung Ang Port No. 3 comes into operation at the end of 2025, Unitel Logistics will become an important link in the Indochina trade infrastructure chain, helping Lao goods reach the open sea, realizing the aspirations of integration and common prosperity of the two countries.
