Winning SJG Tour Leg 5, Nguyen Khanh Linh entered the world golf rankings

TPO - Winning the women's championship at stage 5 of the Saigon Junior Golf Tour 2025, Nguyen Khanh Linh has officially registered her name on the WAGR world amateur rankings, marking an important milestone in the development journey of the 12-year-old golfer.

Stage 5 of the Saigon Junior Golf Tour 2025 system took place enthusiastically at West Lakes Golf & Villas ( Long An ), gathering excellent young athletes from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and countries such as Australia, Korea, and China.

In the women's category, Nguyen Khanh Linh, representative of Hanoi , showed impressive performance with a score of 76 - 72 - 81, a total of 229 strokes, thereby convincingly winning the championship.

With this result, Khanh Linh officially entered the world amateur rankings at position 3,287 WAGR, helping Vietnam increase the total number of female golfers on the world rankings to 11.

Nguyen Khanh Linh is one of the most promising young faces of Vietnamese golf. Although only 12 years old, she has quickly made her mark in many domestic amateur and grassroots tournaments. At the National Golf Championship - Gia Lai 2025, Khanh Linh became the youngest athlete to pass the cut, demonstrating courage and maturity beyond her age.

In the men's category, Ngo Thanh Son, representing JAGA Vietnam Golf Academy, demonstrated his stable performance and strong mentality. After three rounds, Thanh Son scored 74 - 70 - 73 strokes, totaling 217 strokes, thereby successfully winning the men's category.

Notably, round 2 was an explosive performance when Thanh Son scored 4 consecutive birdies, creating a big push to take the lead and maintain the advantage until the last hole.
