Kim Long Commune, Ho Chi Minh City: Many collectives and individuals were recognized and rewarded

On the morning of September 12, the People's Committee of Kim Long commune (HCMC) held a conference to summarize the emulation and reward movement for the period 2020-2025 and launch the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2025-2030.

Comrade Hong Nhu Vang, Party Secretary, Chairman of Kim Long Commune People's Council awarded prizes to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement.

Kim Long Commune, Ho Chi Minh City was established on July 1, 2025, on the basis of merging Kim Long town, Bau Chinh commune and Lang Lon commune (formerly Chau Duc district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) with a natural area of ​​6,430 hectares and a population of 32,495 people.

Over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement has been organized in many diverse and rich forms, mobilizing the strength of the entire political system and all classes of people.

Overcoming the common difficulties caused by the pandemic, the local economic structure has shifted positively, many specialized fruit growing areas associated with eco-tourism have been formed, and state budget revenue has increased annually. Traffic infrastructure has been invested synchronously, opening up many opportunities and development spaces, and the urban and rural landscape has become increasingly prosperous. Up to now, the commune has no more poor households, the average income per capita has reached more than 93 million VND/year; attention has been paid to caring for policy families and ethnic minorities; the environmental landscape has changed towards being bright - green - clean - beautiful.

Many collectives and individuals in Kim Long commune, Ho Chi Minh City were rewarded.

From the emulation movements "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", "All people participate in protecting national security", "Exemplary veterans", "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families", "Farmers are good at production and business, unite to help each other develop the economy", "Youth volunteers, young people proactively protect the Fatherland" ... more and more typical examples and models have appeared in all areas of social life. Kim Long commune has been honored to receive 3 Emulation Flags from the Government, 5 Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, 225 collectives and 358 individuals have been commended and rewarded by all levels and sectors.

On this occasion, 5 collectives, 3 households and 38 individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements in the period 2020 - 2025 were commended and rewarded.
