On the morning of October 8, due to heavy rain that lasted from the night before and the release of water from some hydroelectric plants, some streets in Ha Giang 1 and Ha Giang 2 wards were deeply flooded, affecting people's movement.

Police used specialized boats to help people move on Minh Khai Street, Ha Giang 2 Ward.

According to the reporter's records, in the Minh Khai street area (Ha Giang 2 ward), especially in front of Ha Giang Ethnic Boarding High School, Tuyen Quang province, the water level rose from 0.8 to 1 meter, making travel difficult. Similarly, on Nguyen Du street (Ha Giang 1 ward), the area of ​​Cau Trang bridge was deeply flooded, many households had to move their properties to higher ground to avoid damage. Some other small streets and alleys in the city also experienced localized flooding due to stagnant rainwater that the drainage system had not been able to drain in time.

This morning, the police and local authorities were present to assist people in moving, especially the elderly, children and students. Many deeply flooded areas have been equipped with boats and specialized vehicles to transport people, ensuring the safety of people's lives.

Many sections of water are 0.8 - 1 meter deep, making it difficult for people to move around.

In addition, the authorities are coordinating with the Electricity sector and Ha Giang Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company to monitor water levels and deploy drainage measures to soon stabilize the situation, ensuring traffic and daily life return to normal for local people.
