In the dialectical relationship between people and culture, many intangible cultural heritages and a system of nearly 700 historical and cultural relics are ranked and distributed widely across 69 localities, expressing the diversity in traditional culture of the land of culture. Each relic and folk song contains valuable stories about the contributions of ancestors in the process of building and protecting the homeland and country.
According to Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh Nguyen Viet Truong, in the context of globalization and increasingly deep international integration, culture is a decisive endogenous strength. Continuing to build and promote the cultural values and people of Ha Tinh is an urgent task, to create a high-quality human resource, imbued with the identity and character of Ha Tinh people, to soon be able to build the province into a sustainable cultural and economic center of the country.
According to comrade Nguyen Viet Truong, in recent years, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the cause of building and promoting the cultural values of Ha Tinh people has still achieved many important results. Awareness of the position and role of building and promoting cultural and human values has been raised in the entire political system and people. The system of cultural institutions has increased in quantity and gradually improved in quality. Physical education and mass cultural and sports activities have received more and more attention, better meeting the enjoyment needs of the people. New cultural and ethical values have been formed and developed.
Besides the encouraging results, the cause of building and promoting cultural values and people of Ha Tinh in recent years still has some limitations and shortcomings: The development of culture and people still has certain limitations; school culture, family culture, social culture have worrying manifestations; Ha Tinh has a tradition of studiousness, revolution, and diligence, but in the period of renovation, it has not yet created a generation of excellent scientists, politicians, or businessmen commensurate with the tradition of the homeland...
According to the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ha Tinh, through identifying and seriously recognizing the shortcomings and limitations in the development process, Party committees and authorities at all levels need to approach and resolve the contradiction between the requirements for developing cultural and human goals and the harsh rules of the market economy, deep integration with human civilization; solve the problem between the very high requirements for the goals of building and developing Ha Tinh's culture and people and the limited investment resources of the province.
In particular, it is necessary to properly handle the relationship between traditional and modern culture and people. How to ensure the maintenance and protection of the good traditional values of Ha Tinh culture and people, and at the same time establish and develop new values to meet the requirements of the new era, such as: Intelligence, vision, skills and integration, big dreams, responsibility to society...
Therefore, along with continuing to enhance the Party's leadership role in the cause of building culture and promoting human values in Ha Tinh in the new period, the focus is on concretizing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on building and developing culture and people of Ha Tinh in the new period; Plan 320/KH-UBND dated July 10, 2024 of the Provincial People's Committee on implementing Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU associated with strengthening resources for the field of culture and people, concretizing policies with economic and social resources.
In the era of integration, the qualities of Ha Tinh people are not only studiousness and diligence, but also unlimited creativity, global thinking and the ability to master technology.
