Building Tay Do commune to meet advanced NTM standards by 2030

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Tay Do commune was established on the basis of merging 4 communes: Vinh Quang, Vinh Yen, Vinh Tien and Vinh Long (belonging to the old Vinh Loc district) according to Resolution No. 1686/2025/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units. Thanks to the implementation of many synchronous solutions, the locality has been gradually overcoming initial difficulties, focusing on building a solid foundation for the development path ahead, striving to build Tay Do commune to meet advanced NTM standards by 2030.

Create a solid foundation

Immediately after its establishment, the Tay Do Commune Party Committee clearly identified the need to urgently stabilize the organizational structure, unify the management method, maintain political security, social order and promote socio-economic development. The commune currently has a natural area of ​​35.36 km2, a population of 27,444 people, including 28 villages. The Commune Party Committee has 46 affiliated party organizations with 1,499 party members. With the spirit of solidarity and high political determination, the Commune Party Committee has reviewed and improved the Party organization, improved the quality of Party cell activities, promoted political and ideological education and especially maintained solidarity and consensus from within the Party to the People. Along with that, it is necessary to focus on leadership and direction to achieve and exceed the targets and tasks set for the 2020-2025 term, creating confidence and a solid premise to successfully implement development goals for the 2025-2030 term.

Accordingly, Tay Do has effectively promoted the foundation of 4 old communes, creating continuity in agricultural production, industrial development - small-scale industry and services. High-tech agricultural production areas, value chain linkages, safe vegetable areas, and carbon credit rice areas continue to be maintained. The total product value in 2025 is estimated to reach more than 3,000 billion VND, and the average income per capita is estimated to reach more than 68 million VND.

In the New Rural Development Program, the whole commune has 5 model villages, 5 OCOP products are recognized; the rate of hardened roads reaches over 75%; the rural environment is gradually improved; security and defense continue to be maintained; 28/28 villages meet the standard of "Safe in security and order". Self-managed security teams are effectively maintained, promoting the role of the masses in preventing and fighting crimes.

The cultural and social fields have made progress; social security has been taken care of; the material and spiritual life of the people has been increasingly improved. The rate of families meeting the cultural family standard is 94%; the rate of people regularly exercising is 55%; education and training have developed in the direction of standardization; the rate of schools meeting national standards is 72.7%. The work of medical care and people's health has received attention and has changed positively; the rate of people participating in health insurance is 94.36%...

A bright spot of Tay Do is the work of building the Party and the political system. The Commune Party Committee has provided comprehensive leadership in terms of politics, ideology, organization and ethics. During the 2020-2025 term, 108 new Party members were admitted. Inspection and supervision work has been strengthened with 37 Party organizations and 45 Party members inspected; 40 violations have been handled, contributing to maintaining discipline and improving the Party's leadership capacity.

The area of ​​agricultural land accumulated and concentrated for large-scale agricultural production, applying high technology in the 2026-2030 period is 275 hectares; of which, the area of ​​agricultural production land applying high technology in the 2026-2030 period is 125 hectares; The rate of population participating in health insurance over the total population in 2030 will reach 97%; the rate of schools meeting national standards in 2030 will reach over 95%; the rate of households with housing meeting standards in 2030 will reach 95% or more; the rate of poor households will decrease by an average of 1.84% annually; the rate of grassroots party organizations completing their annual tasks well will reach 90% or more...
