On October 20, the Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Province said it was coordinating with relevant agencies to investigate and clarify the cause of a pickup truck suddenly catching fire while traveling on Ho Chi Minh Road.

According to initial information, at around 7:00 p.m. the same day, Mr. Vu Van H. (residing in Thanh Mien commune, Hai Phong city) was driving a pickup truck with license plate 15K... on Ho Chi Minh road in the direction of Gia Lai - Dak Lak.

When reaching km1749+700 (passing through Cu Bao ward, Dak Lak province), the car suddenly had an accident and could not slow down. At this time, the driver pulled out the key to turn off the engine and stop the car. However, after stopping for about 10 minutes, the car suddenly caught fire in the engine compartment. The fire quickly spread and completely burned the car.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Zone 2, Dak Lak Provincial Police arrived at the scene to put out the fire. Fortunately, the driver had left the car at the time of the fire so there were no casualties.

The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the authorities.
