Towards the great festival of the coal industry working class

Towards the 7th Congress of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group (TKV) Trade Union, term 2025-2030, TKV's trade unions at all levels are entering the peak stage of organizing the congress with a spirit of urgency, seriousness and high responsibility. From union groups, departmental unions to grassroots unions, all preparations are being carried out closely and methodically, ensuring the right progress, regulations and direction.

Trade union congresses at all levels are important political activities, demonstrating the intelligence, courage, solidarity and responsibility of cadres, union members and workers. Recognizing that importance, the Standing Committee of the TKV Trade Union has directed its affiliated units to organize the congresses to ensure comprehensive quality in terms of content, form and especially personnel work - the key factor determining the success of the congress.

According to TKV Trade Union Chairman Le Thanh Xuan, personnel work is considered a central task throughout the process of preparing for the congress at all levels, so the requirement is that units must carefully review and introduce truly exemplary people, with capacity, prestige, and dedication to the workers' movement and trade union activities. The selection must be objective, public, democratic, ensuring the correct standards and procedures, so that each elected trade union official is truly a worthy representative of the workers.

Implementing that direction, at Duong Huy Coal Company, the departmental unions promptly organized congresses, creating a vibrant and serious competitive atmosphere right from the beginning of October. Each congress was carefully prepared, promoting the spirit of democracy and solidarity.

Chairman of the Duong Huy Coal Company Union, Dao Trung Huy, said: “The personnel work is carried out in accordance with the process, ensuring a reasonable structure to select cadres with qualities, capacity, prestige, and the ability to gather and lead union members and workers. The new Executive Committee must demonstrate courage and responsibility, truly be a bridge between professionals and workers, and at the same time accompany the enterprise in the goal of sustainable development.”

At Cam Pha Port and Logistics Company, the unit selected to organize the unit's union congress, the preparation work was carried out carefully and scientifically . The Union Congress of the Legal - Internal Control and Security Department was highly appreciated for its process, content and organization form.

Mr. Pham Van Nghia, Chairman of the Trade Union of Cam Pha Port and Logistics Company, emphasized: “Personnel work must be given top priority, ensuring the selection of the right person, the right job, and the right standards. New union officials need to have courage, dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, and be worthy of the trust of union members and workers.” Based on the results of the pilot congress, the Trade Union of Cam Pha Port and Logistics Company is continuing to direct the remaining trade unions to complete the congress before the end of October 2025.

Up to now, most of the grassroots trade unions in TKV have completed the congress preparation stage; many units have successfully organized the departmental trade union congresses, creating a vibrant competitive atmosphere towards the great festival of the coal industry working class. Each congress is not only an occasion to summarize the term, but also a process of selecting, inheriting and promoting a team of trade union cadres with "heart, vision, talent and credibility", ready to accompany the enterprise, care for and protect the rights of workers.

With a spirit of urgency, seriousness and high responsibility, all levels of trade unions in the whole TKV are striving to complete the congress before the first quarter of 2026, contributing significantly to the success of the 7th TKV Trade Union Congress, affirming the role of the trade union organization as a reliable support for workers, a pioneering force in the sustainable development of the Group.
