Dak Lak: Searching for pickup truck that hit a student in critical condition and then fled

On October 10, a leader of the People's Committee of Quang Phu commune (Dak Lak province) said that the authorities are accessing security cameras to search for the vehicle suspected of causing an accident that injured a student and then fled.

According to initial information, at around 6:00 p.m. on October 7, student TVT (11th grade student, Cu M'gar High School, Quang Phu Commune) was on his way home from school when he collided with a pickup truck at the Ly Tu Trong - Le Huu Trac intersection. As a result, student T. was seriously injured and unconscious. The pickup truck driver then drove away from the scene.

Local people discovered and took T. to Cu M'gar Medical Center for emergency treatment. Due to serious injuries, T. was transferred to the Central Highlands General Hospital and then to Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC).

According to the victim's family, as of noon on October 10, T. was still receiving emergency care and special care at Cho Ray Hospital in a deep coma.
