Born and raised in Noi Bai, Ms. Yen soon became involved in making banh chung - a dish that bears the mark of Vietnamese culture. From a small establishment, she gradually developed local products into goods with a foothold in the market, recognized as meeting OCOP standards and chosen to participate in programs introducing hometown specialties. For her, "preserving the flavor of the homeland in each dish is preserving memories, preserving roots".

Not stopping there, she also developed a traditional culinary space, aiming to turn local cuisine into a bridge for cultural exchange, while creating more jobs for local workers. This approach contributes to spreading the spirit of honoring Vietnamese culinary culture, while developing the community economy .
In addition to her business activities, businesswoman Nguyen Thi Yen also actively participates in charity and social security activities. Over the years, she has been a familiar face in the programs “Tet for the poor”, “Warm clothes for the highlands”, supporting women to start businesses, awarding scholarships to students in difficult circumstances, building charity houses, etc.
In particular, the “Godmother” model - implemented by the Noi Bai Businesswomen Club - has helped and cared for many orphans, demonstrating a spirit of compassion and community responsibility.
“What makes me happiest is not the profit, but when I see the smiles of the children I take care of,” Yen shared.

As the Chairwoman of the Noi Bai Women Entrepreneurs Club, she is always considered by her colleagues to be a cohesive and inspirational person. Under her leadership, the club has become a dynamic living environment where members share experiences, support each other in developing production and business, and actively participate in local social activities.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen’s consistent contributions to the business and community have been recognized with many forms of awards. Recently, she was awarded the “Golden Heart” symbol in the program summarizing the campaign to support the Cuban people (October 2025) - a reward for her quiet but meaningful journey of dedication.
