This is the second agreement reached between this unit and the National Basketball Association of America from 2022. Making FPT Play the only domestic television service holding the right to exploit the NBA for 6 consecutive seasons.

Notably, this agreement for the first time gives domestic fans the opportunity to enjoy the full range of the biggest basketball tournaments on the planet. From the Preseason, Regular Season, Play-In Tournament, Playoffs to the NBA Finals and other special events such as NBA All-Star Weekend, All-Star Celebrity and NBA Draft... All will be shown with international quality and vivid, in-depth Vietnamese commentary.

Of the 209-226 games selected per season, the number of games per round will increase to 180 Regular Season games, 22-34 Playoffs games, 7 NBA Cup Finals/Play-in tournament games and 5 Preseason games (starting with the 2026-2027 season).

This means that domestic audiences can enjoy exciting and thrilling NBA matches almost every day.

From the first week of competition (October 22 to October 29), the audience will witness a series of remarkable matches. The focus of the opening series of matches is the "big battle" taking place in Los Angeles between two modern basketball "empires", the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers.

In addition, fans cannot miss other exciting matches such as Houston Rockets vs Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics vs New York Knicks, or Denver Nuggets vs Golden State Warriors. This is where young stars like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Tamar Bates are ready to challenge the veteran monuments.

NBA is the oldest professional basketball league in the world . Starting from the 2022-2023 season, the NBA organizing committee has made strong changes in promoting its image in the Vietnamese market in particular and Asia in general.
