Provincial Social Policy Bank: Loan turnover reached 2,156 billion VND

On the morning of October 23, the Provincial Social Policy Bank (SPB) Representative Board held a conference to evaluate the performance of the first 9 months of 2025 and deploy tasks for the fourth quarter. Attending and directing the conference was Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial SPB Representative Board.

In the first 9 months of 2025, policy credit activities in the province achieved many positive results, continuing to affirm its role as an important tool of the State in implementing the goal of poverty reduction and ensuring social security.

Total implemented capital reached over VND 9,111 billion, an increase of over VND 505 billion compared to the end of 2024. Loan turnover reached VND 2,156 billion, helping over 34,500 poor households and policy beneficiaries access preferential capital. Total outstanding loans for policy credit programs reached over VND 9,095 billion, an increase of 5.84%; the rate of overdue debt and debt cancellation accounted for only 0.12%, lower than the national average.

The capital entrusted from the local budget reached 78% of the planned target, effectively deployed through socio- political organizations, contributing to improving credit quality, creating conditions for people to access capital for economic development and stabilizing their lives.

Implementing the tasks of the fourth quarter, the Provincial People's Credit Fund Representative Board set a target of completing 100% of the capital plan assigned by the Central and local governments, ensuring the overdue debt ratio is below 0.1%, the interest collection ratio is 98% and 100% of due debts are handled, while continuing to improve the quality of social transaction activities.

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan acknowledged the efforts of the VBSP system in the whole province in the past time.
