Yen Nhi stuttered when speaking English at Miss Grand International 2025

(Dan Tri) - Yen Nhi is representing Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2025. In the first days of the competition, she did not perform well and caused controversy with her English communication.

On the evening of October 3, the Vietnamese representative had an exchange with the contestants and representatives of the Miss Grand International Organizing Committee.

During the chat, she received the question: “What are your hobbies?”. However, Yen Nhi could not give an answer despite the support of other contestants.

Immediately after Yen Nhi's interaction was shared, the audience in Vietnam was surprised because before that, in the final night of Miss Grand Vietnam 2025, Yen Nhi performed quite well in the English question and answer session.

During the sideline activities of the Miss Grand International 2025 pageant, Yen Nhi always tried to interact and get along with the contestants from other countries. However, after more than a week of participating in the contest, the Vietnamese representative has not really stood out.

On the evening of October 3, the Miss Grand International Organizing Committee announced the top 15 of the Talent competition. Unfortunately, the Vietnamese representative was not in this top 15.

In the voting for impressive contestants before the official start of Miss Grand International 2025, the 10 most prominent faces also did not include the appearance of Vietnamese representative Yen Nhi.

The Top 10 of this voting section include representatives from Brazil, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Spain, Thailand, and Venezuela. These are also prominent faces with a large fan base in this year's contest.

Beauty Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi (born 2004) became the representative of Vietnam at the Miss Grand International 2025 pageant after being crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2025 in mid-September. Immediately after winning the crown, Yen Nhi participated in training and preparation for the first international beauty pageant of her career.

Before becoming a beauty queen, Yen Nhi was a photo model, worked with many fashion brands and won second place in a photo contest. The 21-year-old beauty is 1.72m tall, with measurements of 81-64-92cm. She is currently a third-year student majoring in Tourism and Travel Services Management at Van Hien University (HCMC).

The Miss Grand International 2025 pageant began at the end of September with the participation of 77 contestants from all over the world . Over the past week, the beauties have participated in meetings and exchanges.

The final of the Miss Grand International 2025 pageant will take place on October 18. The reigning Miss Grand International Christine Juliane Opiaza (Philippines) will crown her successor.

Miss Grand International is a beauty pageant that is quite young but has made an impression on audiences who love beauty pageants. This is also the pageant that Vietnam has regularly sent people to participate in recent years.

The Vietnamese representative with the best achievement at Miss Grand International is Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien. She was crowned in the 2021 season. In the 2024 season, the Vietnamese representative is Que Anh. She did not achieve outstanding results in this beauty arena.
