The opening ceremony of the Con Son - Kiep Bac Autumn Festival 2025 took place tonight, October 12, and was broadcast live on radio and television channels and digital platforms of Hai Phong Newspaper and Radio and Television.

On the evening of October 12 (ie August 21 of the lunar calendar), at Kiep Bac relic site, Tran Hung Dao ward ( Hai Phong city), the 725th death anniversary commemoration ceremony of National Hero Tran Hung Dao and the opening ceremony of the Con Son - Kiep Bac autumn festival in 2025 will officially take place.

This is the most important highlight event of the special festival season, the first time after the Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kiep Bac Complex was recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage.

Since early afternoon on October 12, tens of thousands of people and tourists from all over have flocked to Kiep Bac Temple, immersing themselves in the bustling and solemn atmosphere. The relic site has been decorated with flags and flowers, and the lighting, sound, and art stage systems have been completed, ready for the opening ceremony.

According to the Organizing Committee, the opening ceremony will take place with the incense offering ceremony, the reading of the funeral oration for Saint Tran and the opening drum performance. This is the most anticipated moment, opening a sacred space connecting tradition with the present.

Immediately after the ceremony, the special art program "Hai Phong - The Quintessence of Heritage Land" will recreate the historical, cultural and spiritual flow of the sacred land through large-scale staged sequences, combining image projection and modern digital art.

All preparations have been completed, security, traffic and reception are carefully ensured, promising a sparkling, sacred and proud festival night in the middle of the world heritage site of Con Son - Kiep Bac.

Specifically, 2 screens were placed at Hai Phong City Theater and the Eastern Cultural Center to create conditions for people in the inner city area to fully enjoy the live TV program. 3 other screens were arranged in the area behind the grandstand and in front of the four-pillar gate in the Kiep Bac temple grounds, serving thousands of people and tourists who did not have seats in the main area of ​​the festival.

The arrangement of the LED screen system ensures clear and synchronous live broadcast images and sounds, helping the masses to immerse themselves in the sacred and solemn atmosphere of the opening ceremony. This is an effort of the Organizing Committee to spread the cultural and historical values ​​and the spirit of converging heritage of the sacred land of Con Son - Kiep Bac to the general public.
