Lao Cai Department of Education and Training has urgently issued documents on proactively responding to storm Bualoi; Letting students stay home from school to respond to the storm. At the same time, coordinating with wards, communes, and affiliated units to proactively closely monitor the weather situation, the development of floods and rains, and develop plans for prevention, control, and response; Ensuring the safety of facilities and assets; In particular, implementing separate safety measures for boarding and semi-boarding students.

As of October 1, 65 schools were damaged by storm Bualoi, specifically: 27 kindergartens; 13 primary schools; 8 secondary and high schools; 3 secondary schools; 11 high schools and 3 vocational and continuing education centers. The estimated damage is about 30 billion VND. Fortunately, the storm did not cause any human loss at educational facilities in Lao Cai province.
Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee has directed affected schools to coordinate with the People's Committees of communes, wards and relevant agencies to mobilize resources to repair damaged items to ensure the safety of teachers, staff and students and soon restore educational activities as soon as the facilities are safe.
