Da Nang supports Quang Tri and Ha Tinh provinces to overcome damage caused by storm No. 10

DNO - On October 8, a delegation from Da Nang city led by Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Le Tri Thanh visited and shared the difficulties of people in Quang Tri and Ha Tinh provinces who suffered heavy damage caused by storm No. 10.

At the places he visited, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Le Tri Thanh shared the difficulties that the local authorities and people are facing; at the same time, he expressed his hope that the localities and people will make efforts to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

On behalf of the leaders of Da Nang city, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city Le Tri Thanh presented support money from Da Nang city to Quang Tri province of 1 billion VND and Ha Tinh province of 1 billion VND.

According to the plan, the Da Nang city delegation will continue to visit and give support money to Nghe An province of 1 billion VND, Thanh Hoa province of 2 billion VND and Ninh Binh province of 1 billion VND.

Previously, on October 1, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Party Committee launched a fundraising campaign to support people affected by storm No. 10. In the immediate future, the city allocated 6 billion VND from the budget to support people in Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Tri provinces. These are the localities heavily affected by storm No. 10.
