An Giang: Promulgating regulations on management, operation, connection, information security assurance and use of specialized data transmission networks in the province

On December 24, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee issued Decision No. 58/2024/QD-UBND promulgating regulations on management, operation, connection, information security assurance and use of specialized data transmission networks in An Giang province. This Decision takes effect from January 3, 2025.

The promulgated regulations include 3 Chapters and 15 Articles stipulating management and operation principles; list of services, applications, connections, quality and information security assurance, and use of the specialized data transmission network in An Giang province.

Subjects of application are agencies and units using services of the Specialized Data Transmission Network in An Giang province as prescribed in Appendix II issued with Decision No. 08/2023/QD-TTg dated April 5, 2023 of the Prime Minister on the Specialized Data Transmission Network serving Party and State agencies; the agency assigned to manage the Specialized Data Transmission Network in An Giang province is the Department of Information and Communications; organizations and enterprises related to the provision of Specialized Data Transmission Network services in An Giang province and individuals participating in the management, operation and use of the Specialized Data Transmission Network in An Giang province.

The content of the regulation specifically stipulates the list of services and applications; quality of the Specialized Data Transmission Network of An Giang province; principles of management and operation; connection; requirements to ensure the safety of the information system connecting to the Specialized Data Transmission Network; monitoring of network information security and access control.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Information and Communications to be responsible for organizing, guiding and urging the implementation of this Regulation./.
