After the welcoming ceremony of Belarusian Airlines flight, the crew and visitors were warmly welcomed by local authorities; wreaths and souvenirs showed the hospitality of Phu Quoc special zone.

According to the plan, the Minsk-Phu Quoc route will be operated periodically with a frequency of 10 flights per day, using modern wide-body A330-200 aircraft with a capacity of up to 300 passengers per flight.

Speaking at the ceremony to welcome the flight of Belarusian Airlines and launch the Minsk-Phu Quoc route, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of An Giang province, said that the launch of the route has profound significance as Phu Quoc will be the host of the Asia -Pacific Economic Cooperation Forum in 2027 (APEC 2027).
