(NLDO) - The People's Council of Long Dat district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province held its first meeting to complete the apparatus and elect positions according to the law.

On the morning of January 1, the People's Council of Long Dat district (Ba Ria - Vung Tau province), Term I, 2021-2026, held its first meeting to complete the apparatus and elect positions according to the law.

With 52/52 delegates attending, the Long Dat District People's Council meeting reviewed, discussed, approved personnel introduction reports and elected key positions.

Long Dat District People's Council successfully held its first session.

Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Hanh (born in 1984) was elected as Chairwoman of the People's Council of Long Dat district, term I, 2021-2026, with 100% of votes in agreement.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Phong (born in 1978) was elected Vice Chairman of the District People's Council (with 51/52 votes); at the same time, the heads and deputy heads of the Long Dat District People's Council were elected.

Ms. Do Thi Hong (born 1975) was elected as Chairwoman of Long Dat District People's Committee with 50/52 votes in agreement.

Ms. Do Thi Hong was elected to hold the position of Chairwoman of Long Dat District People's Committee.

The four Vice Chairmen of the District People's Committee include Mr. Tran Kim Phuc (born in 1971); Hong Nhu Vang (born in 1980); Vo Minh Tuan (born in 1983); Le Huu Hien (born in 1983).

The meeting also approved the number of members of the Committees of the District People's Council; the plan to organize the meetings of the Long Dat District People's Council in 2025. At the same time, it approved the Resolution on establishing specialized agencies of the Long Dat District People's Committee (on the basis of merging specialized agencies of Long Dien and Dat Do districts before); approved the election results of the People's Council of Long Dat District, term I, 2021-2026.
