Phuc Hoa commune still has 9 villages with more than 600 households affected, flooded from 0.5 to 1.2 m. Ngoc Thien commune still has 3 villages with nearly 200 households, flooded from 0.5 to 0.7 m.
Tan Yen commune still has 10 villages with nearly 1,000 households, with an average flood level of 0.5-1 m. In the communes and wards along the Cau River, Van Ha Ward still has 2 residential groups: Tho Ha, Yen Vien with 658 households, flooded from 0.3-0.5m. Viet Yen Ward still has 3 residential groups: Nghia Vu, Trung, Trai Doi with 280 households, flooded from 0.8-1.2m. It is expected that the water in these areas will recede in the next few days (depending on the water level of the province's main rivers).
According to the Bac Ninh Hydrometeorological Station, as of 6 a.m. on October 13, the water level of the Thuong River at Phu Lang Thuong station was 5.87 m (down 0.58 m compared to October 12, about 0.57 m lower than alert level 2). On the Cau River at Phuc Loc Phuong station, it was 6.76 m (down 0.61 m, below alert level 2); at Dap Cau station, it was 5.09 m (down 0.51 m, below alert level 1). It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the water level will continue to decrease from 0.8 to 1 m, creating conditions for drainage and environmental sanitation.
By October 13, many areas in the communes and wards of Da Mai, Viet Yen, Yen The, and Bo Ha had drained the water, and people returned to clean up and sanitize their homes. Local authorities coordinated with volunteers and socio-political organizations to continue supporting people to overcome the consequences and bring their lives back to normal after the floods.
